Why does Feed Washington prefer a recurring donation?

The recurring donation model provides inspiration to our current and potential donors

by clearly showing our growth, momentum and the cumulative impact our collective

donations are making. While "one time" donations are gladly accepted, we hope our

donors will agree with the power of our unique business model and choose to make a

     monthly, recurring donation.

How will Feed Washington solve childhood hunger in our state?

Feed Washington estimates that it will take a recurring monthly donation stream of

approximately $1,500,000 to eradicate childhood hunger. There are currently 2.1 million

non-hungry households in Washington. If we collect just $1 per month from each

non-hungry household we will have achieved our goal.

While Feed Washington fully intends to solve childhood hunger over time, we will, in the

meantime, make a massive impact in the lives of our hungry children even with smaller

     monthly donation totals.

Feed Washington pledges to never provide any of your information to any third

party for any purpose (other than for credit card processing purposes).
